Stamped & Decorative Concrete
Decorative concrete is where the details show. We do stamped patterns, integral color, saw-cut diamonds and grids, and turf inlays. In Burbank we did a front yard in Mesa Buff with turf inlays and a checkered layout, and in Castaic a stamped backyard with a custom color blend and a dark gray ribbon.

Our process
Pick the look
We go over colors, stamps and layouts, and you can look at past jobs.
Prep
Grade, base and forms, same as any slab. Pretty concrete still needs good prep.
Pour with color
Color is mixed into the concrete so it goes all the way through.
Stamp or cut
Stamping is done while the concrete is workable. Saw-cut patterns are cut once it sets up.
Seal
Sealer brings out the color and protects the surface.

Stamped
Custom color blends with a contrasting ribbon, like our Castaic backyard.
Mesa Buff
A warm tan that works with stucco and stone.
Diamond cut
Saw-cut diamonds, like our Pasadena pool deck.
Turf inlays
Concrete squares with turf between them.
Pebble
Pebble between pads or as a border.
Sand finish color
Like the sandstone sand finish on our Camden project.

FAQ
Is stamped concrete slippery?
A sealer with a non-slip additive helps a lot, especially near pools.
Will the color fade?
Integral color goes all the way through. Resealing every few years keeps it looking fresh.
Can I design my own layout?
Yes. One of our Burbank backyards was designed by the client and built by us in Mesa Buff.
How much is stamped concrete?
It depends on the pattern, color and size. We come out and measure for a free estimate.
