Foundations & Fire Rebuilds
A rebuild starts with the foundation, and that part has to be right. We dig, form, tie steel, get inspected and pour, for homeowners and builders putting houses back up in Altadena after the Eaton Fire and in the Palisades.
From steel to finished slab
One of our foundations, shot by drone. Steel, vapor barrier and forms set and ready for inspection, then the same slab poured and finished.

Foundations & Fire Rebuilds
- Excavation and footing layout to the plans
- Rebar tied to the structural drawings, ready for the city or county inspector
- Slab-on-grade and raised foundations, pads and grade beams
- Pours of every size with pump trucks, from small pads to full-house slabs
- Structural slabs and site concrete for multi-unit jobs, like our Sherman Oaks project, built from the foundation to the full exterior hardscape
- Walkways, driveways and drainage once the house is framed, so one crew handles the whole site

Our process
Plan review
We go through your structural and architectural set. We measure the foundation off the overall outside footprint so nothing gets missed.
Excavation & forms
Trenches dug to depth, forms set to line and grade, and plumbing and hold-downs coordinated with the other trades.
Steel & inspection
Rebar, dowels and hold-downs placed per plan. We walk the inspection with you and fix anything on the spot.
Pour
We schedule the pump and the trucks, pour, and finish. Big pours are planned so the concrete stays consistent across the whole slab.
Cure & strip
Forms come off, we clean the site, and the framer can get to work.
Pick what fits
Slab on grade
Most common for rebuilds on flat lots.
Raised / stem wall
For hillside lots and homes with crawl spaces.
Pads & grade beams
Heavy footings for posts, decks and columns.
Vapor barrier
Thickness per your plans, 10 mil or 15 mil.
FAQ
Do you work on Eaton Fire and Palisades rebuilds?
Yes. A big part of our work right now is rebuild foundations in Altadena and Pacific Palisades.
Can you work from my builder's plans?
Yes. Send us the structural set and we will go through it before we come out.
Who handles the inspection?
We have the steel ready for inspection and meet the inspector on site. If they want something changed, we fix it before the pour.
How much does a foundation cost?
Every foundation is different. We have to see the plans and the lot, measure, and then we give you a free estimate.
