American Concrete Specialist started in 2017, before our daughter was born, as an idea Yahaira couldn't shake. She saw a company that does concrete the right way: honest, clean, and built to last. Alex had spent years on job sites and had the experience and a crew that already worked that way. Her vision and his hands made it real.
Today ACS is still owned and run by the two of us, Alex and Yahaira. Every driveway, patio and foundation we pour carries our family name, and our daughter will grow up seeing the work we put into it. When you hire ACS, you're hiring a family that built this company from the ground up and won't put its name on anything less than our best.

Concrete is what we do
American Concrete Specialist is owned by Alexandro Valderrama and his wife, Yahaira. We do concrete and hardscape for homeowners, builders and GCs across Los Angeles, from foundations and big structural pours to driveways, pool decks and full backyards.
Our crews handle the parts most people never see: the base, the steel, the grade and the drainage. That's what keeps a slab flat and a driveway from cracking in two, so we take our time on it.
We work alongside pool builders and landscapers, and a lot of our work right now is helping families and builders rebuild in Altadena and Pacific Palisades.
We focus on quality, and we come out and measure every job before we give a number.
