Driveways
Your driveway is the first thing people see and it takes a beating every day. We tear out the old one, build a solid base, set the steel and pour it with the finish you picked. Recent ones include Reseda, Woodland Hills, Santa Monica, Westlake Village and Calabasas.
Driveways
- Demo and haul-off of old concrete or asphalt
- Grading and compacted base
- Rebar or wire, depending on the job
- Turf strips and grass joints between slabs
- Saw-cut control joints and clean edges
- Aprons and approaches (city permit when needed)

Our process
Measure
We come out, measure and talk through the look you want.
Demo & grade
Old driveway out, soil graded so water runs away from the house.
Forms & steel
Forms set, base compacted, steel in.
Pour & finish
Poured and finished: broom or sand finish. Cut joints the same day or next morning.
Cure
Keep cars off for about a week so it cures right. We will tell you when.
Pick what fits
Broom finish
Good grip and simple. Our Reseda driveway is a broom finish.
Sand finish
Smooth, fine texture. We used it in Santa Monica with Mexican pebble and in Calabasas with turf inlays.
Turf strips / grass joints
Strips of turf between slabs, like our Woodland Hills and Calabasas jobs.
Color
Integral colors like Mesa Buff, sandstone or pebble.
Saw-cut patterns
Diamonds or grids cut into the slab.

FAQ
How long until I can drive on it?
Usually about 7 days. We will tell you for your job.
Do you remove the old driveway?
Yes. Demo and haul-off is part of the job.
Will it crack?
Concrete can get small cracks. Good base, steel and joints in the right places keep them in the joints and not across the slab.
What does a driveway cost?
It depends on the size, demo, access and finish. We come out and measure for a free estimate.
